Kim Kardashian London - Arabstoday Reality TV star Kim Kardashian was devastated to discover that she is suffering from Psoriasis; as seen on last night’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Naturally, Kim, whose career depends on modeling and appearances in the public eye, cried, and said that her “career is over.” \'My career is doing ad campaigns and swimsuit photo shoots,\' the 30-year-old cries. \'People don\'t understand the pressure on me to look perfect.\' \'When I gain a pound, it\'s in the headlines. Imagine what the tabloids would do to me if they saw all these spots?\' Kim headed to Beverly Hills Dermatologist Dr. Harold Lancer, who examined the red rash which started off on her legs, and then soon after spread all over her body. He diagnosed it as Psoriasis. Dr. Lancer has told Kim to lead a ‘slower-paced life,’ as the condition is brought on by lifestyle factors like lots of stress and travel. Kim’s response however was: \'It\'s just not possible.\' ABC reported Catie Coman, director of communications for the National Psoriasis Foundation, empathizing with the reality star, as she commented: \"People can often be very cruel because they think the disease is contagious or has something to do with being dirty.\" She noted that LeAnn Rimes has also battled the condition. \"Celebrities with psoriasis are under intense pressure, and stress is a trigger for psoriasis.\" The disease is unfortunately hereditary and was passed on from Kim’s mother Kris, who told her daughter: \'I got it for the first time when I was exactly your age. I cried myself to sleep for months.\' Her mother was diagnosed when she 30, so Kim was not unfamiliar with the disease; \"I\'d heard of it before because my mom has always had it, but she didn\'t have red flaky dots all over her,\" she told Life and Style Weekly. This has come as a major disturbance for Kim, who will be walking down the aisle on August 20th when she marries Basketball star Kris Humphries.
