Rains are predicted in different parts of Oman over the next three days, according to the meteorology department.

“There will be cloud advection over Musandam governorate and Oman Sea coastal area for the next three days with chance of rains,” the Oman meteorology department reported via its official twitter handle. 

In December 2015 and January 2016, heavy rain fell in Oman. Since then, some areas of the capital have received only light showers.
