'Rookie Blue' ends after 6 seasons

The Canadian police procedural Rookie Blue has wrapped after six seasons and 74 episodes.

Starring Missy Peregrym and Ben Bass, the Toronto-shot show aired in the United States on ABC.

"On behalf of the whole Rookie Blue family, thank you to all the fans for your dedication over the last six years. After six fun and dramatic seasons, our story has come to a natural close," the show's creator Ilana Frank said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter Friday.
