ABC has ordered more scripts for two of its freshman dramas, "Last Resort" and "666 Park Avenue," The Hollywood Reporter said. "Last Resort" co-creator Shawn Ryan took to Twitter Friday, making the announcement for the submarine drama featured in the 8 p.m. Thursday time slot. "Just got a call from ABC. Additional scripts ordered for #LastResort. Onward and upward," he wrote. The drama, starring Andre Braugher and Scott Speedman, premiered to modest ratings before seeing an uptick in the fourth episode. "Last Resort" has averaged 7.8 million viewers and a 1.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic, The Hollywood Reporter reported. "Everyone would always like to have the No. 1 show on TV. Instead, we're going against the No. 1 show on TV with 'Big Bang Theory,'" Ryan said. "I think ABC acknowledges that we're doing better than their previous shows in the time slot over the past few years, and they love the show creatively." "666 Park Avenue" has also been given a vote of confidence by ABC with the order of more scripts. The horror drama also saw modest ratings in the 10 p.m. Sunday slot, averaging 5.6 million viewers for its first three episodes, The Hollywood Reporter said.he tex
