Fouzi Lekjaa (L) & Moses Magogo

Fouzi Lekjaa, the president of the Moroccan Royal Football Federation (FRMF), met with Moses Magogo, the president of the Ugandan Football Association (FUFA) president, on Wednesday to sign a fellowship agreement, agreeing to work together for the better of the game.

In the bilateral agreement, the two organizations agreed to share their teams’ technical programs for the next decade.

Morocco and Uganda collaborate to promote training camps and to exchange knowledge, experience and effective football practices.

“It is another milestone to have the Federal Republic of Morocco Football Association as our development partners and I am definitely excited,” Magogo told Ugandan news outlet New Vision.

“It is our strategy to create partnerships and relationships for the betterment of our game.”

According to the FUFA, international partnerships like these benefit Ugandan football and its goal to spread outside the Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) region.

To carry out the agreement, FUFA representatives will take a tour of Morocco in efforts to better understand how the government and corporate sectors manage business and infrastructure development.
