 Wall Street stocks jumped to record closes again Wednesday on fresh assurances that President Donald Trump intends to press ahead with tax cuts.

For the fifth straight day, all three major US equity indices ended at all-time highs, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average gaining 0.5 percent to 20,610.76.

At the closing bell, the S&P 500 also gained 0.5 percent to 2,349.05, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index advanced 0.6 percent to 5,818.91.
