The United Auto Workers Union said Tuesday it had reached a tentative deal with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles set for a vote by the company's unionized employees.

The deal is closely watched by the two other major US automakers -- General Motors and Ford -- as it could serve as a template for the union's agreements with them.
