S&P 500, Nasdaq end at records as oil shares gain

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq finished at records Monday after an agreement between major oil exporters boosted crude prices and petroleum-linked shares.

At the closing bell, the S&P 500 was at 2,402.34, up 0.5 percent, and the Nasdaq at 6,149.67, up 0.5 percent, both new all-time highs.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.4 percent to 20,982.28.
