The world's advanced economies announced Monday a long-awaited plan to close the loopholes on tax-avoiding multinationals that cost countries more than $100 billion a year, declaring: "Playtime is over."

The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development revealed its 15-point plan to prevent firms from exploiting different countries' tax rules following public outrage at companies like Google and McDonald's being able to engineer low tax bills while remaining within the law.
