Barack Obama arrived in Japan on Wednesday for a Group of Seven summit, kicking off a historic visit which will also take him to the atomic-bombed city of Hiroshima.

Obama is set to be the first US president to visit the city after it was destroyed in the 1945 nuclear attack in the final days of World War II.
