North Korea test fired what appeared to be two medium-range Musudan missiles in quick succession on Wednesday, South Korea's Yonhap news agency said.

South Korea's Defence Ministry confirmed one missile test -- saying it ended in failure -- but would not immediately confirm the unsourced Yonhap report of another launch.
