Germany on Friday said it could only wait and see how eurozone finance ministers will judge a last-ditch batch of proposals from Greece when they meet this weekend.   

"The outcome of the Eurogroup meeting on Saturday is completely open," finance ministry spokesman Martin Jaeger told reporters, following upbeat initial assessments of Athens' proposals from several European capitals.
