French President Francois Hollande said the EU and creditors were making progress with Greece on a debt bailout accord which could be finalised Wednesday, just ahead of an EU leaders summit.

"We are moving towards an accord," Hollande told reporters Monday after an emergency eurozone leaders summit on Greece. "There is still work to be done... every effort must be made so that when eurozone finance ministers meet Wednesday, a solution is in sight."
