Canada's economy slowed at the end of 2015 as both local sales and exports took a downswing, the government statistics agency said Tuesday.

Following a relatively robust 2.4 percent growth rate upon exiting a mild recession the previous quarter, the Canadian economy expanded 0.8 percent from October to December, according to Statistics Canada.
