At least two men armed with Kalashnikov assault rifles attacked the Tunisian capital's famed Bardo Museum on Wednesday wounding a woman tourist, the interior ministry said.
"A terrorist attack (has hit) the Bardo Museum," ministry spokesman Mohamed Ali Aroui told Mosaique FM radio, adding that "two or more terrorist elements" took part.
"What is certain is that a woman tourist was wounded," he added, without elaborating.
