Four civilians, including possibly a child, were "likely" killed in a US air strike against an Islamic State checkpoint in Iraq in March, an investigation released Friday found.
"The preponderance of the evidence gathered during the investigation indicates that the air (strike) likely resulted in the deaths of four non-combatants," the US military's Central Command said in a statement.
"One of the non-combatants may have been a child."
