US aviation officials on Monday lifted all restrictions on flights to Turkey, which had been imposed amid the uncertainty surrounding last week's failed coup attempt.

The Federal Aviation Administration "lifted all restrictions on flights to and from Turkey at 1:45 p.m. EDT (1345 GMT)," the US agency said in a statement.
