Ankara blasts

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday ordered Turkey's State Supervisory Council (DDK) to conduct a special probe into the Ankara bombings that killed 97 people.

"I ordered State Supervisory Council to undertake a comprehensive examination and investigation to handle this issue from a different perspective," Erdogan told reporters in Ankara.

The DDK is an inspection body attached to the Turkish presidency. Its probe will be held in parallel with the regular police and judicial investigation.
