President-elect Donald Trump arrived at the White House Thursday for Oval Office talks with Barack Obama on executing a smooth transition of power and steadying nerves after a vote that shocked the world.

The 70-year-old billionaire property mogul arrived at around 11 am (1600 GMT) at his soon-to-be home on the capital's Pennsylvania Avenue, a US official said.
