Survivors of Mediterranean migrant

Survivors of a shipwreck in which more than 200 migrants are feared to have drowned in the Mediterranean were brought to safety in Sicily on Thursday.

Irish patrol vessel Niamh arrived in Palermo with 367 survivors as well as 25 bodies recovered from the sea after an overcrowded fishing boat believed to be carrying more than 600 people flipped over and sank off the coast of Libya on Wednesday.
