At least nine people were killed Wednesday when a suicide attacker blew himself up in a busy market in northern Afghanistan, officials said, warning that the death toll could rise. "The initial reports show nine people were killed, all of them civilians, and 15 others were wounded" in Almar district of Faryab province, interior ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqqi told AFP.
