A Palestinian teenager stabbed and wounded an Israeli border guard in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron on Saturday before being shot dead, Israeli police said.

One guard was lightly injured in the attack, which occurred near a disputed place of worship in central Hebron, and another border guard killed the 17-year-old assailant, police said in a statement.
