President Barack Obama's administration on Tuesday said it would ask the Supreme Court to uphold executive measures protecting migrants from deportation.

After an appeal court blocked Obama's efforts to enact the move, the Department of Justice said it "intends to seek further review from the Supreme Court of the United States."
