Israeli troops in the occupied West Bank on Friday shot dead a Palestinian teenager during clashes near the city of Hebron, Palestinian officials said.

The army said soldiers opened fire at assailants throwing petrol bombs at Israeli drivers near Arroub refugee camp and that one of them was hit, but a spokeswoman could not confirm he had died.
