Israel's foreign ministry said its diplomats would not attend a number of scheduled EU meetings after the bloc's decision Wednesday to label goods imported from Jewish settlements.
"Because of the latest EU decision, Israel is suspending its diplomatic dialogue with the EU in various forums which had been scheduled to take place in the coming weeks," it said.
Israel previously harshly condemned the move but the suspension was the first concrete measure taken in response to the labelling decision.
