The US ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, on Wednesday warned that the North Korean regime "will be utterly destroyed" if war breaks out, after Pyongyang's latest test of an intercontinental ballistic missile.

"If war comes, make no mistake: The North Korean regime will be utterly destroyed," Haley said at an emergency UN Security Council meeting.
