The death toll from the crash Tuesday of an Indonesian military plane on the western island of Sumatra has risen to 38, a Red Cross official said, and warned of more victims.
"We have received 38 bodies, including a child," said Eko Triandi, who was assisting emergency teams at a hospital in Medan city, where the air force transport plane crashed into a residential area.
"Based on reports, there are many victioms still in the field."
