The death toll from the crash Tuesday of an Indonesian military plane on the western island of Sumatra has risen to 20, a hospital official said.

"Twenty bodies have arrived at the hospital's morgue," Sairi Saragih, spokeswoman from the Adam Malik hospital in the city of Medan, where the plane went down, told AFP.
