Ouagadougou - Arab Today
Burkina Faso's presidential and parliamentary elections, which were scheduled for October 11, were delayed until November 29 following a failed coup, two presidential candidates said Tuesday after a meeting with the country's interim authorities.
"The date of November 29 has been set by all Burkina Faso's political players for the organisation of legislative and presidential elections," Ablasse Ouedraogo said.
Roch Marc Christian Kabore, another candidate, confirmed the date which was to be approved at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
