Anger erupts in Odinga bastions after Kenya poll result

Angry protests erupted Friday night in strongholds of Kenya's opposition leader Raila Odinga, after it was announced he had lost a presidential election he claims was massively rigged.

AFP correspondents reported businesses being attacked and set on fire in the Nairobi slum of Kibera, while in western Kisumu gunshots rang out in the air after the result was announced.
