Minister of Antiquities Mamdouh al Damaty said the Red Sea archaeological sites are diverse and need development to be placed on Egypt's tourist sites map.
In a press conference with Red Sea Governor Ahmad Abdallah, Damaty added that the ministry supports the governorate in development and restoration of tourist sites.
Abdallah said there is a plan to restore tourist sites and find more in the province in cooperation with the antiquities ministry.
He added that the civil society needs to take part in modernization of the tourist sites.
