The 6th of October Bridge has not been affected by the blast that targeted the Italian Consulate on Galaa Street early Saturday, Transport Minister Hany Dahy assured.

A committee of road experts already examined the bridge in the area of the explosion, said Ayman el Sherie, the media advisor at the Transport Ministry.

The committee said that the bridge is okay and has not been affected by the bombing, Sherie added.
