The Civil Aviation Minister Hossam Kamal underlined that there was growth in the movement of transit passengers in Cairo International Airport and other Egyptian airports during the past phase.
This shows that the services offered to passengers are good, the minister noted, adding that Cairo International Airport is a pivotal one in the African continent.
These remarks came by Kamal after he had sworn in as the civil aviation minister in the new government.
He further underscored that the projects of the Civil Aviation Ministry enjoy a great confidence by prominent institutions such as the World Bank.
Meetings held with ambassadors of the African, European and Asian countries during the past phase had a large impact on promoting Egypt's regional and international stance in the field of aviation industry.
