Cairo – Mohamed Alshinnawi
Artist Samir Sabri stated that the late Souad Hosni was killed in her friend Nadia Yusri’s London flat just before she was thrown over the balcony. She accused Yusri of killing her after she gave contradicting statements about Souad’s suicide, and refused to inform the police and Souad’s family of her death until the next day, even though the death took place at 9pm the previous night. On Thursday evening on the 22nd July in an interview on the TV show “Egypt Studio” on Nile TV, Sabri said: “Souad was murdered inside the flat, and then thrown off the balcony. She did not commit suicide because she loved life and had great faith in God, and therefore would not commit such a sin, whatever the circumstances.” He added: “Souad went under the knife several times in order to lose weight, and she did - she lost 18 Kg, she also had her teeth done, and a neck lift. She had high self-esteem which would not lead to her committing suicide at all.” Sabri demanded that Yusri should tell the truth about Souad, as in the beginning she said that Souad died in her arms, and then she changed her story and said that she saw Souad from the balcony when Yusri was still downstairs, and said hello to Souad, and that after she got upstairs she found Souad had thrown herself off the balcony.
