Egyptian actress Ghada Abdel Razaq admitted that she was expecting TV dramas to be much better this Ramadan than in past years, but was shocked at their unimpressive standard, and said that the only TV drama that drew her attention was “Adam” starring Tamer Hosny, adding that she did not expect the drama to be this “strong” while Hosny’s performance really surprised her. She said that Tamer wanted to leave the drama after is name was put on a blacklist but that she convinced him to keep the role and return to filming the drama that his fans were eagerly anticipating. Ghada’s own drama titled “Samara” broadcast during Ramadan, where Hasan Hosny and Lucy starred alongside her. The star is currently awaiting the release of her film “Moon’s Palm” which was directed by Khaled Yusuf and will be in cinemas on October 19th. Starring alongside her are Khaled Saleh, Sabri Fawwaz and Jumana Murad. The film is about a mother with 5 kids who tries to keep them and fix their problems, but after her husband dies she is forced to leave her home and raise her kids on her own, while one of her children travels abroad and she tries to get them all back together once again.
