Actress Ghada Abdel Razaq admitted that when she was a student in her teenage years she used to be insanely in love with her Arabic language teacher, but that he did not feel the same way about her, saying that: “I used to take private tutorials with him and used to go there with the excuse that there are some topics I didn’t understand. And one day I saw a girl sitting next to him in the staff room and he introduced her as Amniah, his fiancé.” As for her studies she said: “I never cared about studying when I did my homework at home I used to blankly flick through the pages.” She explained that she was a cheeky and popular child at school, and always made sure when she got in trouble not to let her mother know, and to take one of her relatives posing as her mother instead. As for love, she said: “I’m a romantic by nature and I think love is like the flu, it can happen at any time. When I love I love with all my heart; but I know that the worst type of feelings is that of betraying emotions as I’ve been betrayed before.”
