Egyptian actor Ahmed Helmy expressed his pleasure for his appointment as a good-will ambassador for UNICEF, saying, "It makes me proud to take such a position as it allows me express my deep love for children and help them against any violations."   He said that he will use the position to help the children not only in Egypt but also in the Arab world as whole. He added that he hopes to be a shell to destroy any violence against children and to be a minaret to guide each father and mother how to deal with their children.
