The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said sounds of violent explosions were heard near Tabqa Dam in western Raqqa, the BBC reported on Saturday.
According to the London-based observatory, the place was shelled by warplanes causing the sounds of explosions.
Earlier in the day, SOHR said fierce clashes are still ongoing between the Syrian Democratic Forces and Daesh terrorists in the northern countryside of Raqqa.
