The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Sunday that 4,075 were killed, mostly civilian or opposition forces and regime forces, in the past month, calling on UN security council to protect the Syrian people.
SOHR said in a statement that among those killed were 832 civilians, 594 opposition forces, while 1,265 foreigners, 568 regime soldiers, and 555 are regime's national defense guards.
The statement noted that among those killed were six soldiers defecting from the regime army and 30 members of Hezbollah forces, while 215 regime non-Syrian soldiers mostly Shiat, and 10 people were unidentified.
SOHR added that the number of those killed and the observatory was able to document were more than 500 people.
The statement urged despite previous calls to the security council to intervene and stop the bloodshed in Syria, they continue to call on members of the security council to intervene once and for all to help the Syrian people in this struggle.
