Kurdish forces took over 90% of al Hasakah city, northeastern Syria, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
A state of cautious calm has prevailed in al Hasakah following violent clashes between regime forces, backed by National Defense Forces (NDF), against Kurdish forces and al Asayesh after midnight around the post and train stations, the Kurdish forces were able to take control of 90% of the city, including the areas of al Nashwa, Gweran, and the central prison in addition to other areas.
