Fierce clashes erupted Monday between regime troops and the armed opposition in a number of areas in Syria.
Syrian helicopters raided the cities of Aleppo, Deraa and Rif Dimashq, according to Sky News.
A barrel bomb also hit the city of Zabadai.
The armed opposition, meanwhile, targeted a government checkpoint in Adra city.
Activists said regime troops sustained direct injuries in al-Ashrafiya neighborhood.
The Aleppo Media Center said three persons, including a woman, were killed in a military air strike in al-Bab city.
In Rif Hamah, the armed opposition took control over three government checkpoints in Qamhana village and killed more than 10 regime troops.
