Jeddah - Arab Today

Arab singer Haifa Wehbe’s appearance on MTV show “Menna Wa Jurr” was the talk of the town as it quickly became the highest trending topic on Twitter.
Wehbe thanked her fans on Twitter for the positive response to the show.
“I personally thank all people who sent their feedback on the episode. I was so happy to participate,” she tweeted.
Wehbe was the main guest on a special episode of the show, celebrating Christmas and New Year, and was hosted by TV producer Pierre Rabbat.
The episode enjoyed high viewership ratings and created lots of buzz on social media as the hashtag #Menna_Wa Jurr topped Twitter trends in the region. Viewers were in for a surprise as Wehbe dazzled everyone with her performance.
She talked about her career in show business and the many international awards she received this year. Wehbe said the awards mean more responsibility and will prompt her to look for newer ideas.
The Lebanese diva also talked about her former husband, Egyptian businessman Ahmad Abu Hashima, pointing out that their divorce was civilized and they both are still on good terms and relations.
She said that as an artist, she would not mind cooperating with him on a professional level after he recently opened a private TV station.
Wehbe apologized for not participating in any of the New Year Eve’s parties, asserting she wants to spend the special night, with her family and closest friends, unlike previous years when she had been busy with events.
