Iraqi forces on Tuesday liberated the al Tarabsha area in Ramadi district of Anbar province from Daesh control.
Daesh incurred heavy losses in lives and equipment, an Iraqi military statement said.
Meanwhile, spokesman for the anti-Daesh coalition in Iraq and Syria John Dorian said Turkish troops deployed in Iraq's Mosul are not part of the coalition force that provides support for the Iraqi army.
He added that the Turkish troops have no official approval from the Iraqi government to be present in Mosul.
