At least 28 Daesh militants, including four suicide bombers, were killed Friday after Iraqi forces repelled an attack carried out by terrorists in various districts southern Mosul, an Iraqi military statement reported.
US-led air raids targeted militants fleeing the scene, the statement said.
Also, the Iraqi army bombed 15 Daesh vehicles laden with weapons and killed a sniper and dozens of militants in a number of Mosul villages, it added.
