Twenty-three Houthi and pro-Ali Abdullah Saleh militias were killed and dozens others injured during clashes with the Yemeni army and in airstrikes staged by jets of the Saudi-led coalition in Taiz.
The jets had struck several Houthi targets last night in east and west of Taiz, leaving 12 dead, while the remaining 11 were killed in clashes with Yemeni army and resistance forces, the military council in Taiz said.
Four resistance elements were killed and nine others injured in the clashes.
Meanwhile, unidentified gunmen killed an officer working at Aden international airport as he was leaving his house for work, “Aden Al Ghad” online newspaper reported.
