Actor David Strathairn is to co-star with Jessica Chastain in the Broadway production of "The Heiress" this fall, producers said Thursday. The play by Ruth Goetz and Augustus Goetz is being directed by Moises Kaufman. Strathairn is best known for his work in the film "Good Night, and Good Luck" and in HBO's "Temple Grandin." This production of "The Heiress" comes 17 years after the celebrated play was last seen on Broadway. The play is based on the classic Henry James novel "Washington Square," which was adapted for the screen in 1949 as "The Heiress" -- winning four Academy Awards, including a Best Actress Oscar for Olivia de Havilland.
