Moscow - UPI

Bolshoi ballet dancer Pavel Dmitrichenko was sentenced in Moscow to six years in prison for organizing an acid attack on Bolshoi artistic director Sergei Filin. The soloist was convicted Tuesday, along with two co-defendants, of causing grievous bodily harm, RIA Novosti reported. Yuri Zarutsky was found guilty of actually carrying out the attack for which Dmitrichenko hired him, while Andrei Lipatov drove Zarutsky away from the scene of the crime, the government-backed news agency said. Filin suffered third-degree burns to his face and eyes in the acid assault last January.
