Prominent Egyptian actress Nabila Obeid said she refuses to be considered a replacement for any actress in any project for the big screen or television, because it does not suit her prestigious history. She stressed that her nomination for the role in the sequel “Kayed Al Nisa” (Women’s Vengeance) was not as a replacement for Egyptian actress Summaya Al Khashab. According to the London based Elaph, Nabila stated that her role in the drama is completely different than the one previously played by Summaya. Nabila stressed that she agreed to take part in the drama after being very impressed with the story of the sequel, and that she would not have accepted her nomination if she felt she was chosen as a mere replacement for Summaya. The actress added that when she read the script she was very intrigued that she did not bother to ask if the role offered to her was also offered to other actresses. She noted that what matters to her is for the role to be up to her standards and add to her career. With regards to the role she plays, Nabila revealed that she portrays the role of a lady named “Halawathum” and is currently working on mastering the character with regards to the way she talks and acts.
