Dethroned cycling champion Lance Armstrong pleaded guilty to careless driving for hitting two parked cars on an icy street in Aspen, Colo., in December.
The incident took place Dec. 28 as Armstrong, 43, and his girlfriend, Anna Hansen, 33, drove home from a party.
Hansen initially took the blame for the crash, she said to keep his name out of the media. She eventually backtracked, admitting the cyclist was to blame for the incident.
Armstrong entered a guilty plea to careless driving by mail Friday. He paid $238.50 in court fees and a $150 fine. Hansen faced no charges for false report.
Armstrong's charge is punishable with jail time but Deputy District Attorney Andrea Bryan said it's uncommon.
