Janet Jackson has reportedly halted her tour prep to be with dad Joe Jackson following his stroke.
The 49-year-old singer will shut down production on her Unbreakable world tour to stay by her 87-year-old father's side until he is stable, reports Entertainment Tonight.
Joe Jackson was celebrating his birthday in Sao Paolo, Brazil, when he suffered a stroke July 25. The talent manager was admitted to Albert Einstein Hospital on Sunday, and shared an update with fans on his website Monday.
Janet Jackson announced her Unbreakable world tour in June. The tour is in support of her upcoming 11th studio album, which will debut in the fall, and scheduled to kick off August 31 in Vancouver, B.C. The singer last released Discipline in February 2008.
